1. Acceptance of These Terms

These terms form an agreement between you and A Turning Point Foundation Inc. They apply when you browse this website, use the contact form, follow a link from this site or request a guidance program described here. Reading the site is enough to bring the general website terms into effect, while program terms apply when you actually take part in a program.

If you are using the site on behalf of a neighborhood group, a partner organization or another person, you confirm that you have permission to do so and that you can accept these terms for that group. If you do not have that permission, please ask the responsible person to review this page first.

These terms do not replace any separate agreement you may sign with the foundation, such as a volunteer agreement, a grant award letter or a partner arrangement. Where a signed agreement conflicts with this page, the signed agreement controls for the matters it covers.

2. About the Foundation

A Turning Point Foundation Inc is a community guidance and grant foundation that operates from 7533 S Center View Ct, West Jordan - 84084-5526, United States (US). The foundation runs six programs: Mentorship Intake, Family Aid Routing, Community Grant Programs, Housing Transition Support, Youth Program Desks and Volunteer Coordination. The programs are described on the services page and are offered subject to staffing and capacity.

The foundation is not a government agency, a bank, a law firm, a medical provider or a licensed property manager. It does not act as an emergency service. In an emergency, call the appropriate local emergency number rather than contacting the foundation through this website.

The website is provided as a public information resource. Descriptions of programs on the site are accurate to the best of the foundation knowledge at the time of publication, but the availability of a particular program may change during the year.

3. Permitted Use of the Site

You may read, download and print pages from this site for personal, non commercial use. You may share links to public pages with neighbors, partner organizations and public offices. You may quote a short passage with attribution to A Turning Point Foundation Inc, provided the quotation is accurate and does not imply that the foundation endorses a product, a candidate or a cause that it has not formally supported.

You may not present the site or its content as your own, use it to build a competing database, scrape it for contact lists or incorporate it into a paid service without written permission. Automated collection of personal details from the site is prohibited. Requests for permission should be sent to billing@turningpointfoundation.hair.

Access to the site is provided free of charge. The foundation does not require registration to read any public page, and it does not hide program descriptions behind a form. Any future feature that requires an account will be introduced with a clear explanation and updated terms.

4. Volunteer and Partner Access

Volunteers and partner staff may receive limited access to shared documents or scheduling tools used by the foundation. Such access is granted for the role and ends when the role ends. A person who receives access must keep credentials private, use them only for foundation work and report a suspected compromise to the coordination desk immediately.

Partner organizations that receive referrals agree to the short written arrangement described in the privacy policy. That arrangement sets out the purpose for which shared information may be used, the person responsible for handling it and the review date. A partner that disregards the arrangement may be removed from the referral circle.

Volunteers are not employees of the foundation and do not act as agents of the foundation unless a written role description says otherwise. Volunteers must follow the training they receive and must not promise a service, a grant or a payment on behalf of the foundation without written authorization.

5. Contact Forms and Messages

The contact form on this site prepares an email message in your own email application and addresses it to billing@turningpointfoundation.hair. The website does not store the submitted content. Delivery therefore depends on your email provider and on the normal operation of email, and the foundation cannot guarantee that a message will arrive.

Please do not use the contact form for urgent safety matters. If a situation requires immediate attention, call +17748406950 during business hours or contact the appropriate emergency service. The foundation aims to reply to ordinary messages within five working days, but it does not promise a specific response time for every message.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you send. Please do not include sensitive documents as email attachments unless a guide has asked for them. A guide may request additional information by telephone or at the stand, and may decline to discuss a matter by email where confidentiality would be difficult to protect.

6. Program Participation

Participation in a program begins with a guidance intake. The intake guide explains what the program can offer, what it cannot offer and what participation requires. A participant may stop at any point, and stopping does not create a penalty or a debt.

Some programs have capacity limits, such as the youth desks, which are capped to keep group size manageable. When a program is full, the foundation offers an alternative program or a waiting list with an honest estimate of the wait. A place on a waiting list is not a promise of service.

Participants are asked to treat volunteers and other participants with courtesy, to give accurate information where it affects the service and to follow reasonable safety instructions at the stand. The foundation may end a program relationship where conduct is abusive or where safety cannot be maintained, and it will explain the reason in writing where this is appropriate.

Youth program expectations

Youth desk members and their guardians agree to a short conduct agreement at the start of each season. The agreement covers respect for other members, attendance expectations and the limits of confidentiality described at the first meeting. Guardians may ask questions about the agreement at any time.

7. Guidance Is Not Legal or Medical Advice

The guidance offered by the foundation is practical and community based. It is not legal advice, medical advice, financial advice or a substitute for the services of a licensed professional. A guide may explain how a process generally works, help prepare documents and attend an appointment with a participant, but a guide cannot represent a participant in a legal matter or diagnose a condition.

Where a participant needs legal, medical or financial advice, the guide will refer the participant to a suitable professional or public office. The referral is a direction, not a guarantee, and the participant remains responsible for choosing and engaging the professional service.

The foundation does not review or approve the outcome of any professional service to which it refers a participant. It follows up once to learn whether the door opened, but it does not supervise the work of another organization.

8. Community Grant Terms

Community Grant Programs award modest funds to neighborhood projects. An application is an invitation to review, not a promise of funding. The foundation alone decides whether to award a grant, how much to award and whether to attach any conditions to an award.

An awarded grant is governed by a short award letter that states the amount, the purpose, the reporting expectation and the date by which funds must be spent or returned. Grant funds may not be used for personal profit, political campaigning or any activity that violates the law. Unspent funds are returned to the foundation unless the award letter says otherwise.

A recipient must provide a short closing note and one photograph of the project, or an equivalent record where a photograph is not appropriate. The foundation may request a brief conversation about the project and may publish an anonymous summary of the work. A recipient that cannot complete a project should tell the foundation early so that funds can be redirected.

Review and appeals

Declined applicants receive a short written explanation. An applicant may ask for one conversation about strengthening a future proposal, and that conversation is free. There is no formal appeal of a funding decision, because the decision reflects a fixed budget and a comparative review rather than a finding of fault.

9. Website Content and Accuracy

The foundation works to keep this website accurate and current. Program descriptions, business hours and contact details are reviewed regularly. Even so, a page may contain an error, an outdated hour or a broken link. If you notice a problem, please report it to billing@turningpointfoundation.hair so that it can be corrected.

Descriptions of external services are provided for convenience. The foundation does not warrant the accuracy of information published by another organization, and it does not accept responsibility for a change in another organization hours or eligibility rules.

Nothing on this site is a binding offer to provide a specific service on specific terms. The terms of any program are set out in the materials provided at intake and in any signed agreement.

10. Intellectual Property

The text, layout, graphics and design of this website are the property of A Turning Point Foundation Inc or are used with permission. The foundation name, the program names and the visual identity of the guidance stand are protected in the same way.

You may not copy the design of the site for a commercial purpose, remove a copyright notice or use the foundation name in a way that suggests an unauthorized partnership. Short quotations for commentary, news reporting or community education are welcome when attributed.

Material submitted by a participant, such as a closing photograph from a grant project, remains the property of the participant. By submitting it, the participant grants the foundation a limited permission to use the material in its annual summary and on this site. That permission can be withdrawn by writing to the foundation, and the material will be removed within a reasonable period.

11. Acceptable Conduct

You agree not to misuse this website or the services described on it. In particular, you agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, submit malicious code, interfere with the normal operation of the site or use the contact form to send spam, threats or unlawful material.

You agree not to impersonate another person, to submit false information in a grant application or to use a program to harass a volunteer, a participant or a partner. The foundation may report serious threats to the appropriate authority and may preserve relevant records where a legal duty requires it.

The foundation asks that disagreements be raised directly and calmly. A concern about a guide, a program decision or a privacy matter should be sent to billing@turningpointfoundation.hair or raised by telephone at +17748406950 so that it can be reviewed by a senior staff member.

12. Third Party Links and Services

This site links to partner organizations, public offices and other resources that may be useful to a household. A link does not mean that the foundation controls or endorses everything on the linked site. You are responsible for reviewing the terms and privacy practices of any outside service you use.

Where a referral is made during a program, the receiving organization is responsible for its own service and its own records. The foundation follows up once with the participant, but it does not supervise the outcome of another organization work.

The foundation is not responsible for a delay, an error or a loss caused by a third party service, including an email provider, a hosting provider or a public office. If a third party service fails, the foundation will help a participant find another route to the same destination where it can.

13. Privacy and Personal Information

The handling of personal information is described in the privacy policy published on this site. The privacy policy forms part of these terms. By submitting information, you confirm that the details are accurate and that you have the right to share them.

Where you share information about another person, you confirm that you have that person permission or that you are acting in a role, such as a parent or guardian, that allows you to do so. The foundation may ask for confirmation before acting on information about a third party.

Requests to access, correct or delete personal information can be made by writing to billing@turningpointfoundation.hair or by calling +17748406950. The foundation responds within thirty days and explains any legal duty that prevents a particular deletion.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

This website and its content are provided on an as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, A Turning Point Foundation Inc disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement.

The foundation does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free or free of harmful components, or that any defect will be corrected. The foundation does not warrant that a program will be available at a particular time or that a referral will produce a particular result.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits a right that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, A Turning Point Foundation Inc and its staff, volunteers and board members are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from the use of this website or from reliance on information published on it.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

A program service is provided free of charge to households, and the foundation does not accept a duty to achieve a particular outcome. The guide and the participant work together on a route, and the participant remains free to choose a different path at any time.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless A Turning Point Foundation Inc and its staff and volunteers from a claim, loss or expense that arises from your misuse of this website, your breach of these terms or your submission of unlawful material.

This obligation does not apply where the claim arises from the foundation own negligence or from a matter that the foundation controlled. The foundation will notify you promptly of a claim that may require indemnity and will cooperate reasonably in the response.

A participant who acts in good faith and follows the guidance given at intake is not expected to indemnify the foundation for the ordinary risks of seeking help. This section is directed at misuse, not at honest participation.

17. Site Availability and Changes

The foundation may update, suspend or withdraw any part of this website at any time. Pages may be edited to reflect a change in hours, a new program or a corrected detail. The foundation does not promise that every page will remain available, but it aims to keep the essential program and contact information online at all times.

Scheduled maintenance is normally brief and is carried out outside peak hours. If the site is unavailable for longer than expected, a visitor can reach the foundation by telephone at +17748406950 during business hours.

Program schedules are also subject to change. When a program moves, the foundation informs enrolled participants by telephone or email and updates the relevant page on this site.

18. Suspension and Termination

The foundation may restrict or end access to a program where a participant repeatedly breaches the conduct expectations, where safety cannot be maintained or where information provided is knowingly false and affects the service. Where it is safe and appropriate to do so, the foundation explains the decision in writing.

Ending a program relationship does not remove a legal duty that already applies to records the foundation holds. Those records are retained and then destroyed according to the retention periods described in the privacy policy.

A participant who has been removed from one program may still ask about another program at a later date. The foundation reviews such a request on its merits rather than refusing it automatically.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah and the applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through conversation will be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Utah.

Before filing a formal claim, the foundation asks that a concern be raised in writing to billing@turningpointfoundation.hair so that it can be reviewed by a senior staff member. Many matters can be resolved through a short meeting at the stand on 7533 S Center View Ct.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

20. Changes to These Terms

The foundation reviews these terms at least once a year and whenever a program or a website feature changes. A revised version is posted on this page with a new date at the top. Where a change is material, a short notice appears on the homepage for thirty days.

Continued use of the site after a revised version takes effect means that you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept a change, please stop using the site and contact the foundation if you have an open program matter.

Earlier versions of these terms are kept by the coordination desk and can be requested by writing to billing@turningpointfoundation.hair.

21. Contact Information
